  • 1911 Turkey established gun control. From 1915-1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1929 The Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, approximately 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1935 China established gun control. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1938 Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 6 to 7 million Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, the mentally ill, and 12 million Christians who were unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1956 Cambodia established gun control. From 1975 to 1977, one million “educated” people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1964 Guatemala established gun control. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
  • 1970 Uganda established gun control. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, ask them “Who do YOU want to round up and exterminate?

With guns, we are citizens. Without them, we are subjects.

Something to think about… Don’t let the liberal media control your mind with their propaganda blitz. They want to blame crime on gun ownership to justify eventual gun confiscation, but their soft on crime law enforcement and pro-violence and immoral entertainment industry is the real cause.

Most of the politicians in both parties are controlled by the liberal establishment. In effect, we have a one party system. They deserve academy awards.

The Bible says, “A strong man armed protects his home.”

  1. Sheer madness! I cannot see how guns have a place in a civilised society, thats why some parts of America behave like the old wild west. College students going to school shooting their peers because they are pissed off! kids shooting their family because they are pissed off! drive by shootings are common place in many areas.
Them good old boys boasting how many of the latest weapons they have in their armory!

I live in a country where guns are illegal thank God, however we still have innocent people being caught up in shootings by drug gangs. The pain and suffering felt by the families of the dead is terrible. Just look at the West Coast of Mexico and the violence between drug barons there out of control. How many people have been innocently shot in Belize? Legalise guns and it will be a free for all, shoot your neighbour because he keeps noise, shoot another driver because he dammaged your car, shoot me because you don’t like this article. It would’nt end. You have to look at the bigger picture.

Defenceless people people are exterminated in the world because of HATRED, RACISM, PREDUDICE , FEAR and POWER OVER OTHERS NOT GUN CONTROL. Owning a gun does not make one a citizen, just macho. God help Belize.

    1. Guns don’t kill people Thelma, People do.. We are each responsible for our own actions. There are many reasons why all the killings are going on (Drugs, Parents not teaching their kids respect for others, Gangs, etc). Gun legalization is not one. Notice that out of all the killings the guns were almost 100% of the time illegally acquired.

We need to really study what is affecting our youths today to find solutions to the issues the face on a daily basis. Forcefully removing ones right to self defense is literally trampling on and ripping their rights away.

  2. Totally disagree with thelma’s response. Like cayo bway said, guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Most of the crimes that are committed are being done with guns that were brought into the country illegally. How often do you hear of a licensed gun owner shooting his neighbour, or gang banging? Thats because if someone wants to commit a crime with a gun, they wont go through all the hassle of applying for a gun license and paying $3,000 for a new gun when a gun off the streets is as easy to get as a plate of food. Our police department and our government know where these guns are comming from but they do nothing about it. A next thing cayo bway said is that the parents are kinda to blame. They way they raise their children. I grew up around guns. My dad had a gun, my uncles had guns and some of my cousins have guns but because we were raised to respect people, when i hold a gun in my hand, i don’t feel that i have power over people. What i think they need to do if guns should be legalized is to make real stiff penalties if you get caught shooting someone and are not justified, that way people will think twice before they pull the trigger, but taking away ones right to defend them self will not solve the problem. All the law abiding citizens would hand in their guns but the criminals won’t. I don’t know if you heard the saying before that says ‘If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.’ Think about it. 🙂
