Intelligence Riddle

A bit of humor at the expense of the PM. They do say laughter is the best medicine so go have a laugh.

The Prime Minister of Belize meets with the Queen of England a couple of years back.
He asks her:

Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give me?

The Queen replies:

Well, the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people.

The PM frowns, and then asks:

But how do I know the people around me are really intelligent?

The Queen takes a sip of tea, then replies:

Oh, that’s easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligence riddle.

She pushes a button on her intercom.

Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?

Tony Blair walks into the room and asks:

Yes, my Queen?

The Queen smiles and ask the riddle:

Answer me this please, Tony ~ your mother and father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister . . . Who is it?

Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answers,

That would be me.

Yes! Very good

says the Queen.
The PM goes back to Belize and asks the minister of Education, the same question ~ ~ ~

Minister answer this for me. Your mother and your father have a child. It’s not your brother and it’s not your sister . . . Who is it?

The minister replies:

I’m not sure, let me get back to you on that one PM.

He goes to his advisers and asks everyone, but none can give him an answer. Finally, he ends up in the men’s room and recognizes the minister of Agriculture’s shoe in one of the stalls and asks him:

Minister, can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it’s not your brother or your sister. Who is it?

The Agric Minister replies

That’s easy ~ it’s me!

Minister of Education smiles and says

Thanks!

He then goes back to speak with the PM

Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It is the Minister of Agriculture.

The PM gets up, stomps over to the minister of Education, and angrily yells into his face

No!, you idiot! . . . It’s Tony Blair!
